Moringa Sweet Potato Brownies

These brownies are a healthier alternative to regular brownies. Their base is a sweet potato and oat flour and contains only natural ingredients. Enjoy!

  • 2 tsp Moringa Powder
  • 1 cup Cooked Sweet Potato (1 medium sweet potato)
  • ½ cup Oat Flour
  • ½ cup Unsweetened Cacao Powder
  • ½ cup almond butter, peanut butter, etc.
  • 1 Egg
  • ½ tsp Cinnamon
  • ½ tsp Baking Powder
  • 1½ tsp Vanilla
  • 1/3 cup Honey
  • 2 tsp Almond milk
  1. Preheat oven to 425°

  2. Wash sweet potato and poke with holes

  3. Wrap sweet potato in tin foil and cook for 45-50 minutes, or until tender

  4. Let sweet potato cool before peeling and mashing.

  5. Preheat 350°

  6. Mix all ingredients together until everything is combined. The batter will be thick.

  7. Grease a square 8 x 8 baking pan with oil. Dust with cacao powder (this prevents brownies from sticking)

  8. Pour batter in prepared dish and spread evenly.

  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes.

  10. Let cool a little and then serve.

These brownies are delicious and not too sweet! You can add some more honey or a sugar alternative if you want it sweeter.

You can also add more or less moringa powder based on your preferences.

These brownies can be crumbly when they are fresh out of the oven and firm up more when they are cooled off.

Like always, feel free to modify where you want. You can use maple syrup instead of honey, regular flour instead of oat, and whatever milk you prefer. The brownies will taste just as yummy!
